Walks are planned for most Saturdays in the year, occasional Sundays and fortnightly on Thursdays. We try to cater for all rambling needs with walks varying from 4 to 11 miles. Most walks take place within Leicestershire and Rutland but several venture outside the county boundaries during each programme. There is usually a coach trip planned on each 6 monthly programme, often combining walks with a visit to a place of interest.

Occasional Thursday rambles are suitable for wheelchair users. Please contact the General Secretary for information about these.

The club has an active social life with indoor meetings during the winter months and outdoor activities during the summer. Theatre trips are organised most years.

Holidays in the UK and abroad are organised regularly, usually two but sometimes 3 in a year.

Membership is not costly. The current subscription is £7.00 per annum. We usually ask newcomers to complete 4 rambles before joining.
