These are set out in the Club's Constitutioon as follows

a)		To promote companionship and the enjoyable use of leisure by means of country rambles and other activites to encourage the love of nature and the open air.
b)		To co-operate, whenever joint action may be expedient, with any other rambling club or organisation which provides facilities for, or safeguards the interests of ramblers.
c)	(i)	To collect annual subscriptions
	(ii)	To hold funds
	(iii)	To accept gifts and legacies donated for the benefit of the club
